Meet a Business Adviser .... where you are....

We know that finding time to get away from your business can be difficult and that's why we are offering practical help on the following dates across Northumberland. If you would like an appointment with a business adviser for a surgery day, please ring Paula on (01670) 842884. If you would like to attend a workshop, please ring to reserve your place as soon as possible.

Due to our business advisers working on a volume of live tenders for the rest of June, surgery days are currently being planned for July and over the summer months. If you would like to see either Shirley or Garry then please call directly and arrangements will be made.

What can I expect if I make an appointment on a surgery day?

Appointments are available for new and existing clients of The Procurement Centre, with a specialist business adviser and will be bespoke and tailored to your business needs. Shirley or Garry (our advisers) can help you understand the public sector supply chain, to become "bid-ready", and can offer coaching with live tender documents. Paula and Sinéad are on-hand to demonstrate valuable e-tendering systems, help you understand e-tendering portals (including NEPO) and offer a free search for live contracts relevant to your business - there and then, no appointment necessary.

Shirley brings a wealth of experience to the role having worked as a senior bid manager

at BT, handling multi-million pound public sector tenders. Her current employer, TEDCO,

won the contract to provide the Procurement Centre with a business development expert in the North and South East of Northumberland.

His current employer, Business to Business Ltd won the contract to provide the Procurement Centre with specialist advice in the West of the County.
