Buy North East is an NECC campaign launched in Autumn 2007 in partnership with the Northern Echo. The aim of the Buy North East campaign is to help local authorities work more closely with the regional business community, recognising the additional benefits of using local companies and signing up to the principles of the DCLG Business Friendly Concordat.
